About Me

Andrew: FUNDRAISING - FOR FUTURE HOPE I have been involved with Future Hope (a charity for Street Children in Kolkata) for the past ten years. My previous fundraising activities have included a fifty mile run along the Jurassic Coast, ascents of all of the mountains higher than 2500 ft in Wales and several half marathons To date I have raised over £14,000 You can find out more about the charity on their website (www.futurehope.net). In 2021 (The year that I turn 60 years old) : I am planning to walk the central 60 kilometres of Hadrian's Wall (That the section where large amounts of the wall remain) - The walk will be completed in fully authentic Roman clothing.
